WhoDunnit, an engaging event orchestrated by the Art Association, showcases miniature canvases illustrated by the creatives of Jackson Hole. The allure of this art show lies in its mysterious nature- the mini masterpieces are all anonymous. Artists and admirers gather in the center, eagerly awaiting the launch of the auction, where they immerse themselves in the delightful game of deciphering who crafted each piece. When strolling the gallery walls, they may find themselves captivated by the work of a talented high school student or marveling at the masterpieces of established artists like Amy Ringholdz. All artists are on a level playing field at this event- art speaks louder than reputation. However, some critics can see through the anonymous mask; they can recognize the line stroke, color palette, and other techniques that well-known artists display throughout their work. This event also provides a platform for artists to showcase their talent without the fear of disapproval or judgment from others. It offers a sanctuary where creativity flourishes freely.

While volunteering for last year's event, I watched the chaos unfold as this was the first year the art purchasing took place online. Assisting patrons in navigating the digital market and adding art pieces to their virtual carts, I observed heightened energy as participants eagerly awaited the moment when they could secure their chosen artworks. During this process, I couldn't help but notice the same few art pieces being loaded into the baskets of many. When the hour hit the clicks and taps of screens echoed through the center. A dispute arose when two parties purchased the same item at the same time, both claiming ownership over the art, neither letting up. The dispute was settled after a meticulous examination of the split-second disparities in purchase times. This year, the art show highlighted ten amazing pieces from talented JHHS students. The student pieces received enthusiastic responses at the show and many of them were sold! Support from the community and admirers brought success to this year's Who Done It!
